I just wanted to touch base with everyone, especially if you are new to the senior high drama club, as to where the students involved in the musical go following the performances to get something to eat.
Thursday, April 7th-They do not go out as it is a school night
Friday, April 8th- TGIFridays. This is a fundraiser for the drama club. The drama club will receive a portion of the sales that day. Please see the attached flyer which you will need to print out and give to your server in order for us to get credit for your purchase. It can be used all day for lunch, dinner or carry out purchases. Print as many flyers as you like and give them to family, friends and neighbors!

CHIPOTLE FUNDRAISER-MONDAY 4/11
Also attached is a flyer for our Chipotle fundraiser. The date for this is Monday, April 11th! This is a fantastic fundraiser as the drama club will receive 50% of the sales that day between the hours of 3:00PM and 7:00PM. Please print and bring this flyer with you, show it to the cashier on your smartphone, or simply tell the cashier you're supporting the North Hills Drama Club in order for us to receive credit for your purchase.

It's hard to believe that we are just 3 weeks away from opening night! The students are really working hard and it is going to be a great show!
Attached is the hoagie order form, this drama club fundraiser is in full swing with orders and money due by this Friday, March 18th. I have attached an updated parent lobby volunteer list as well as the volunteer sheet for the luncheon and after party. Thank you to everyone who has already signed up! If you have not yet had the chance to sign up to help, we still have 15 spots open and would love to hear from you!

It is not possible to know, at this time, what parts of the show will need the most work during Easter Break.
Not everyone will have to attend everyday or all of each rehearsal. There will be small group scene line work, ensemble work, ensemble dance, featured dancers, solo vocal, small group vocal, ensemble vocal and at least three run thru rehearsals with full cast.
Later we will decide what sections of the show need work and distribute a detailed rehearsal schedule for Easter break. There will be a lot of dance rehearsals.
We have less than two weeks of rehearsal after Easter break.
There will be weekend rehearsals on Saturday, April 2 from 8:30 – 12:00 and Sunday, April 3 from 1:00 – 4:00.
Set construction on April 2 will begin in the morning while we rehearse and end at 4:00 (or when completed).
Since there are no official recordings of the exact version of the show we are performing, we've purchased the audio practice tracks from the Rodgers & Hammerstein Music Library. We're able to customize the show to include cuts or repeats that we make, upload it to the cloud, and cast members can download it after getting the app installed on their devices.
