Madrigal Dinner: Basket Raffle donations

11/28/2017

Good evening!!!!

First, thanks so much to everyone who has signed up to volunteer and/or donate items for the Madrigal Dinner. If you’ve not yet signed up, we still have several opportunities open for you to help.  Click here for the online sign-up form.

Linda McCann, our basket raffle chairperson for the event, has been super busy – sending 80 or so solicitation letters to various businesses. Attached is a PDF of the solicitation letter as well as the list of businesses to which it was sent.

If you have contacts at other businesses, please consider asking for a donation for our basket raffle. Feel free to present the attached the letter, which contains our tax-exempt information. Please notify Linda (lmccann867@gmail.com) of any donations so that we can update the list and avoid duplicate requests.

So far we have received the following items (thank you to all):
  • 4 Washington Wild things tickets
  • 4 Steeler tickets (donated by the Karpinski's)
  • $50 Walnut Grill gift card (Jody Mawhinney)
  • Advance Auto Car Wash Care Bucket
As a reminder, we are asking all families to send in scratch-off lottery tickets. Enclose in an envelope marked Madrigal Dinner and students can place in the Unit, located in the choir room. Also, we would appreciate bottle donations for our “basket of cheer.” (do not send bottles to school – we can arrange pick-up/drop-off)

We’ll need to get all donations to Linda McCann as quickly as possible so she can assemble the baskets. We can arrange for convenient pick-up/drop-off….just let us know. (lmccann867@gmail.com)

Thanks so much!

We hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday. With the hustle and bustle of the busy holiday week/weekend, I am re-sending last week's email regarding the upcoming Madrigal Dinner.

To sign-up to donate items and/or to volunteer, simply click here for the online sign-up. For each item listed, there is a sign-up box - click the empty square to make a check mark. Once you've checked everything you'd like to sign up for, click Submit and Sign Up at the very bottom. Enter your first and last name as well as your email address and click Sign Up Now.

As a reminder, this the choral program's largest annual fundraiser. Proceeds from the event benefit the entire choral program. Any and all help is appreciated.
