fall play parent meeting 9/24

Hello everyone –
There will be a Fall Play (The Beverly Hillbillies) parent meeting on Monday, Sept. 24 at 7pm in the auditorium.
We will discuss the following items:

• Fall Bake Sale (Sign ups & Donations)
• Program Ads
• Drama Club item donations
• Fundraiser ideas
• Show needs
• Assisting with costumes
• International Thespian Society
• Cast party & cast luncheon
• And more…

​Some general information/reminders:
Students have until the end of the month to start earning their shop hours – set builds or hair/make-up/costume assistance on Saturdays and Mondays. At the end of September, we will compile a list of students officially committed to the production to create the back of the show t-shirt. Students who fail to turn in signed contracts or have not attended any set build dates by the end of the month will NOT have their names on the backs of the shirt. They also may be dismissed from the production.
Cast payment #1 was due today, September 17 (either $25 first installment or $50 full installment). Checks made out to NHHS, with the memo line stating “Drama Club.”
This payment, as outlined in the contract, covers t-shirt, DVD, cast party, luncheon, and miscellaneous performance needs like make-up orders.
Stage Crew AND Hair/Make-up/Costume crew payments are due by October 22 (full $30 payment). Checks made out to NHHS, with the memo line stating “Drama Club.”

If your child is a NEW member of the cast or is running out of their Ben Nye show make-up kit materials, please check the link here. We are looking at the $20 theatre kits for new performers. The student needs to check in with costumer designer, Ms. Fairley, and/or the members of the hair/make-up/costume crew, to determine his/her foundation color. Ms. Fairley & the crew are available in person on Mondays or Saturdays. If your child needs a replacement of just foundation or eyeliner, he/she needs to indicate that to Ms. Fairley or a member of that crew, as well. We will record this information on their measurements sheets and put in an online order by the end of the month. We pay for this out of our Drama Club account.
Remember that all information distributed at our student Drama Club meetings can be found in digital form on our website – http://www.nhchoiranddrama.net/ usually within a day of the meeting. Extra hard copies are organized in folders on the bulletin board in the choir room.
