The North Hills Drama Club will present its winter musical, “Aladdin Jr.” on Feb. 1 to 3 at 7 p.m. in the North Hills Middle School auditorium. The show will feature North Hills’ talented seventh, eighth and ninth-grade actors, singers and dancers.Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for all performances. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens and can be purchased in the North Hills Middle School lobby on Jan. 20 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Jan. 23 from 4 to 6 p.m. and Jan. 27 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Attendees who already have tickets may utilize the main entrance.
Tickets also will be available at the box office starting at 5:30 p.m. on the night of each show. Those who need to purchase tickets should enter through the library doors.

About “Aladdin Jr.”
Based on the iconic animated film with an Academy Award-winning score, Disney’s “Aladdin Jr.” is sure to send audiences soaring on a flying carpet ride filled with romance and adventure. The play is a one-act, seven-scene production adapted for middle school performers.
When the street urchin, Aladdin, vies for the attention of the beautiful princess, Jasmine, he uses a genie's magic power to become a prince in order to marry her. Iago, Jafar, the Genie and more are here in Disney’s “Aladdin Jr.,” a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and the power of love.

Congratulations to all of our performers and the Choral Parent volunteers on a successful Cabaret Night event. The annual High School Choir Cabaret Night will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 7:00PM in the High School Cafeteria.  This event features solos, duets, trios, and small groups from the North Hills Choirs in music of the singers' choosing, ranging from pop to jazz, original compositions to music from movies.  The students rehearse on their own and share their talents in a relaxed setting, as the cafeteria is transformed into a coffee shop with a jazz club/open mic night feel.

Admission is $5 at the door, which also gets you refreshments provided by the Choral Parents Association.  All profits from the evening help to cover costs associated with the upcoming music department performance tour to Orlando, Florida where the choir will participate in a workshop and public concert as part of Disney Performing Arts On Stage.
